Lets ExChanGe #3

UPDATED 6/06/2011
Sandy from Cookies and Cream Craft kindly informed me that there is a cookie carrier pattern in Nancy Halvorsen's book "Art to Heart" "TIDINGS"... so there's another place to find a pattern. Thanks Sandy!

IT's time once again to get the creative juices on the move.
This exchange will be a B&B swap...
Bread & Button that is!
But with a twist this time .... it's a reverse swap....
Do I hear you asking ... "What the heck is a reverse swap?"
Well, you make a European bread basket, purchase 4 (four) novelty buttons and then email me and I will send you your partners details.... get it ... in reverse... !  That way the pressure is off you to participate... life sometimes gets in the way... but once you have put together the Bread & Button gift... perhaps even wrapped it... then you email me and say YES.. I'm in!  If you are a "new to me" swapper please leave your postal & blog address too when you email.
The only condition is ... you must email me BY June 30th 2011...
and quilters honour... you must have it done before you do!
That way they'll all go out together...OH and this exchange will be in your OWN country (where possible) as postage costs and LoSt mail seem to be an issue at present... and you may or may not be sending to the person who sends to you...of course this all depends on numbers.... but it should be FuN waiting by the mailbox...
don't ya think...???

This is a link to a site with instructions for making a European bread basket.. don't worry it's easy!
Or go HERE for another site.... or HERE for inspiration... or maybe you have your own and that's OK too!

So go on... get ready planning... set the machines on start ... now with fabric in hand... goooooo!

PS>  And ThAnKs to Linda for allowing me to use her bread basket pic... aren't the ducks just adorable!  Linda said she may even make a "sewing basket".. so how many uses are there for this little wonder?

If you are new to me and don't know my email address.... then go to my profile and click on "Email " to respond.

I'm a bit slow on the uptake today, but I'm making a thingo then buying buttons and then emailing you for my partner's details...
hey maybe my brain does work after all, I would love to swap again, I really enjoy making things I would not normally think of making and seeing all the cute versions on others' blogs :)

Just when I thought I would take a break from swapping, you come up with this. Let's see if I can get one done!
