OcToBeR's BlocK

This month a "PINWHEEL" was our assigned block.
I choose "Margaret's Choice" on page 167... otherwise known as the "Lemoyne Star" depending on the colour placement.

Do you open press some seams which are bulky ? I find it helps.
This is month 8... with only 4 to go... yippee!

PS. We are using 501 Rotary Cut Quilt Blocks book by Judy Hopkins.

    Beautiful block, perfect colours.

    I always press seams flat much less bulk at the end.

    Cheryll I love your block. I will have to try pressing my seams open. Usually I press one way or another but you are right it will take the bulk out. duhh

    I've made one of these, not easy to get the points to line up. Yours is great and the back isn't bad either.
