A BiT of THiS...

 and some of THaT this week...

I needed to make two "North Star" blocks to complete another charity quilt.

18 blocks were donated & I volunteered to complete it to the flimsy stage. 
The "grey" background fabric was as close as I had to work with the original. 
It's now up to another Guild member to quilt it.

I also made a few feminine "sanitary pad" pouches for a charity group.

And a little bit of quilting. 
I've started working on a second "Poppins" bag. This time it will go to DD#2.

And the first of many Quarter Log Cabin blocks (aka Half Log Cabin) was made to test an idea I have. Hope it works...

  9. The North Star blocks make such an effective quilt... I havent seen those blocks before and I love your casual log cabins.... I will have to try soemthing like that... great work for the kids and looking forward to seeing your new bag....
