Thank Goodness It's FINISHED Friday
and it's my pleasure to host this week.
You can read all about TGIFF here.
I love appliqué and of course making quilts so I combined the two on this one.
I used Antonie Alexander pattern called "Wild Things" & used the QAYG method.
It was a FuN project to do & I hope a little person will eventually LoVe it too.
Antonie has lots of great designs in her book called "Happy Quilts" and I've already make Snuggle Bears shown HeRe... and finished HeRe.
This one is called WILD THINGS...
BuT who said MoNSTeRs have to be scary...
these certainly aren't... they're ADoRaBLe.
A few characters... up close & personal...
I quilted a few different designs on the blocks & used a red and black check backing fabric. I thought it looked sensational BuT I didn't have quite enough so I added some FuN accent fabric.
I used a black & white dotty fabric to join the blocks & for the edge binding.
I really LoVe this one ...
This PLaY QuiLT measures 46inch x 57inch as I added 1 extra row to the length.
The 4 x 4 block layout in the book also had borders but I chose to leave them off.
Simply link up below & some friends will come check out your PRoJeCT...
