SeWinG at HoMe...

A quick and easy "panel" was quilted on Teena using a ruler.
This cot sized quilt is off to the local regional hospital.

I used another "orphan" block to create a long pouch for a woman's shelter.
Then another pouch... AND YeS... again from an orphan block.
I added a floral back to keep the size large.
This is the last "orphan" I think I have... so I'm happy to put them to good use.

THiS & THaT...

Using up 4 "orphan" blocks... I made a zip pouch for a woman's shelter.
Measuring 12.5 inch x 10 inch it will fit lots inside.
After finding another 4 orphan blocks... I copied the pouch above.

Then using a small stash piece, I cut & stitched a curve (front only)...
I then added some couching & finished a pouch measuring 9 inch x 9 inch.
In fact... I had soooo much FuN... I made TWO...
This one measures 10 inch  x 8 inch

F.N.S.I.

Joining in this group hosted by Wendy from Sugarlane Designs...
I designed & made a carry bag for my large square rulers AND wool ironing mat.
It matches my other  l o n g  rulers bag too... same colour scheme & applique... made in 2017.
You can see that bag HeRe...
This bag measures 16 inch square & fits my 14 inch wool mat, 12.5 - 10.5 - 9.5 inch rulers inside & a 8.5 & 2.5 inch ruler outside.
It's PeRFeCT for me.

ReTReAT PRoJeCTs

In between the laughs, chatter & mealtime stories with my sewing friends...
I managed to fit quite a lot of stitching in.

Two bindings & labels were added... both Community quilts...
Borders were sewn on two quilts ... also bound for the Community quilt pile...
Four zip pouches completed... they are headed to a woman's shelter...
I played at couching with various cords on two... just for FuN...
The two below were made from "Orphan" blocks...
Another two blocks (QAYG)... appliqued & quilted... no pics just yet... 😉

And a few more projects that I'll show you once they're finished...

I wanted to share a pic of a simply stunning sunset on one particular night.

CRiB QuiLT

Teena had a workout today... with a simple curve design.
This quilt will be a donation to our regional hospital children's ward.
It measures 34 inch x 42 inch... & just needs the binding & label.

I'm off to a retreat where hopefully I'll get lots of sewing completed.
See you all late next week.
