I know all the other sacks/stockings/ totes have been delivered by now
BUT I have a note from the
SwAp MaMa allowing me to be late...lol. My partner, Michelle, had been away for almost 2 months and as hubby and I were away too
AND holidaying in her area... I thought I would hand Michelle's gifts to her personally!
Michelle only got to see her tote though and has placed all the
unopened gifts inside her bag until Christmas...
that's correct isn't it, Michelle !?! but it was so very NiCe to actually meet her.
Michelle and I agreed to make a bag for each other, but instead of making a purely Chrissy tote for her, I made this one in Chrissy
colours AND Michelle's fav colour ...
RED.
The original pattern is shown in the book "
A Stitch in Time" and is a design by
Rosalie Quinlan called "Floral Wreath Sewing Bag", albeit with a beautiful embroidery centrepiece.
I fell in love with it the moment I saw it.
I added a felt, cut out then braided heart with silver bells... just for Christmas... from Santa Chez!
Inside... filled with UNOPENED gifts...
