with my friends in my cubbyhole.
Were YOU there with me?
I hope so...
I recently purchased a new rotary cutter to take to guild and Tuesday group so I thought a new cutter fob was in order. Simple, easy and quick... just the right project to start off the night! Now I'll always be able to find it in my bag.
I then made a baby bib for a new born. It was really quick to put together and is a perfect size for a NeWBorN. I have other sizes and colours that I want to make... but I will place this one in my NaNNa BoX for now... and add the others later.
you know the saying... idle hands... !
I hope you all had a great night in with FriEnDS this month. Grab a coffee and go around to visit all the other FnwF-ers and see what lovelies they created!
See you next month...
lovely sewing.. your nanna box must be filling up nicely....

ReplyDeleteYou will soon need a bigger Nanna box for all your goodies. It was a great night.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea to put a fob on your cutter.
ReplyDeleteAdorable baby bib :)
I was there too LOL. Had a great night stitching and sewing and stuffing. Love the bib. It is a great design and so much better than the tie up ones when my girls were little. The cutter fob is also lovely. Off to get busy because I know that saying too. Although the hands are not quite idle doing a blog hop this morning lol.
ReplyDeleteI was there too ;-) such a nifty looking rotary cutter, and those bibs are just too cute ;-)
ReplyDeleteVery cute fob. Love the baby bib. One spoilt grand-baby coming up. Enjoy every minute it is such a special time for you. Hugs...
ReplyDeleteCute fob, very handy indeed. Adore the baby bids, it won't take long to get a collection of those!!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Anita.
Cute Cute fob and bib. I am new to your blog...well, kind of, LOL. I saw your disappearing nine patch tutorial and saved it to my favorites, then started visiting your blog and wondering why you weren't posting...thing is, I had saved the tutorial and not the blog website so...am I embarrassed? YUP!!! But since I'm in my 60's I'll just write it off to a senior moment (aka: Brain Fart) and start from here. I've been wandering through your past post and really enjoying myself. Glad I finally caught up with you, **hanging head in shame** Big Hugs...
ReplyDeleteLovely FNWF projects. Thanks so much for hosting us all, it is lovely to find and meet new bloggers too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling cutter fob! Such a great idea too, I'm always having to search through my sewing bag to find it!

Thanks for a lovely FNWF Cheryll. I love your little bibs and the fob. I had a wonderful night, sewing away on Maisy's teddy quilt and listening to my iTunes - thankfully our weather has cooled off just a little so I'm back in the sewing room - I'm having a "Saturday afternoon sewing without friends" :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely projects Cheryll, well done.
ReplyDeleteI just finished my FNWF. I spent the evening cutting 2 1/2 squares and another project for this weekends sewing. Love that I have 2 or 3 projects to work on now and do not have to take time to cut. Cut fob, I have never thought of that. Would also be great when everyone you sew with has the exact same rotary cutter.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea with the fob...and very cute bib...
ReplyDeleteIts so much fun knowing we are all stitching together. Love the bibs they are so cute.
