I joined in the Rainbow Scrap Challenge with So Scrappy blog in 2015.
I chose to make "Bow Tie" blocks & all 140 quilt blocks were made using scraps in the monthly challenge colours. Once I had enough blocks I arranged them alternately between hugs & kisses blocks with a light & dark colour scheme. All 35 (4 patch) blocks finished at 12 inch square.
I added a 3 inch white border, then another 3 inch pieced coloured border & a final white border at 4 inches. The quilt top finished at 80 inch x 104 inch.
Then it headed off to the fabulous Julie to work her quilting magic on it.... AND...
work her magic she did. I love it. I apologise Julie as I know the pic doesn't do your work justice.
While in the van, I finished off the binding & ViOLa'...
