A -new to me- technique on Teena (my long arm) by piecing & quilting as you go.
It's made the same way a "Log Cabin" block is sewn together & I picked this idea up from Leanne Harvey. I really like the way you get to play with left over strips & lots of beautiful colours.
This toddler quilt will be a 3 x 5 (10 inch) block layout measuring 30 inch x 50 inch & is a test run to see if I like this method of making a quilt.

Intriguing - I've never seen that done.... do you join the blocks later like a Quilt As You Go?
