Double Wammy Weekend

The weekend was certainly jam packed with GoOd things. First & most importantly my daughter had her engagement party. We love them both and wish them ALL the very best in life. The party was wonderful and went off without a hitch. I think everyone enjoyed themselves... the drinks were plentiful, the food delicious and the guests warm and friendly. What more could you ask!

It was also my birthday and I was 50 something ??? although I don't think I'll count anymore...or perhaps I'll go backwards from now on!
Anyway apart from enjoying a few good wishes and cheers at the party, I also had a lunch here at home with all the family the next day. My other daughter made me this WoNdErFuL xmas apron (although she is only a novice she is interested in taking over my cubbyhole one day!!)... together with a gift certificate to spend on fabric...books..and stash building cash... yeh... amongst a whole heap of other things... so I was well and truly spoilt.
