I've already had one block go astray (well it appears to have anyway) so when Barb sent me an email saying her block HaD arrived I felt a huge relief......phew !!!!! It appears her earlier email went to cyber heaven... but she did receive the block.... and that's all that matters.
Barb was my January partner in BSA...who asked for a scrappy nine patch block, using civil war fabric.
I wasn't really familiar with these fabrics.. but with a little help from my local quilting supply store I hope I picked what Barb had in mind.
Once a Season Swap has closed for the Autumn swap... and I have sent out ALL emails with the SeCrEt partners details... SO if anyone hasn't received theirs... PLeAsE contact me.
Remember.... it's an "AuTuMn" theme.

The block looks great. I hadn't thought about the fact that Aussies may not have access to a lot of Civil War fabrics. See - I learn something new every day. I hope to be making my BSA clock later tonight, partner!
What a great block! Love the colors.
Lovely block and very CV era. I live in Windham fabric country, so see a lot of CV repro fabrics. If that's something you are interested in, I would be happy to send a bundle.
Your block looks wonderful. But I am with you I do not know much about Civil War fabrics.
