Home from the Hills

I had to enjoy endure 3 days in this amazing awful wine region just a few hours drive from my home. AND to make it worse I had to take a few friends other people with me!
I just don't know how I managed it..... do you?
The very early morning view......!
oohh,, this ole' shack will do.......
late afternoon... watching the kangaroos.....

tasting the wine... well... someone had to...
the end of a hard day!

Now you'll understand why I didn't do any blogging or sewing over the last few days!
But I did visit a market one morning and found this adorable little creature!

And also this little "bear" tin... how cute!

I found myself thinking "this looks like an autumn scene". Then I realized that it IS autumn where you live. That looks like so much fun! It's always good to get away and have some fun with friends!!

cute little chookie! when we came to Australia we were very confused about everyone calling their holiday homes shacks. In Sth Africa, a shack is a few sheets of untreated colourbond tied together with ropes and gaffa tape that people live in in the slum - gimme Aussie shacks any day!

Oh your poor think - sounds like a bit of a trial for you! NOT! I will be struggling in a similar fashion next week when my husband and I visit the Hunter Valley for a couple of days - well someone has to help the tourism industry don't they!
