So last night I got out the old knitting needles and sat in front of the TV watching a movie. I only managed to knit up one ball... 'cause I had to go find the tools before I could start... they too have been hibernating. I think I need something warm to wear... or perhaps it is a gift???
Either way....you'll just have to wait and see.

I managed to make another 2 bags for the "breast cancer" project. Here are the ones I have made so far and all 6 will now be posted off tomorrow .I use up any scraps of thick fabric, like off cuts of curtaining and use calico or similar for the lining. They are so easy and quick to make up but I only get a chance to make a few at a time.
Oh well, each one helps!

Cheryll, you need to come to Texas! It was 101 here yesterday and it isn't even summer for another week and a half! Wish we could share the warmth!
Cheryll what a marvellous job you do,and yes we are freezing and have been waiting a few weeks for a delivery of wood but it hasnt come so on with the reverse cycle heating.
Your bags are so nice, and a wonderful way to give. Your yarn is very pretty. I like to crochet when it's cold, because it does help me stay warm. And about that cold weather - keep it in the southern hemisphere!! We're tired of it up north.
So that is where the heat came from! We have had some record highs this week.
Brrr... and you are sharing that cold with us up north!! Ugg boots and trackie pants are out... Great bags... definitely every one helps and makes a difference to someone ...

I never thought I would miss my horrible old carpet when we got our lounge room floors polished last October......when it was Summer! But! It's a tad chilly I must say...even made Hubby put the fire on last night and the flannos are definetly ON!!
You are going into the cold - I don't think we are ever going to get out of it here in New England. OH, I don't think I could knit or chrochet any more - I wouldn't remember the stitches it has been so long. But there are so many luscious yarns now.
We are awaiting the 90+ degree summer that is has just departed your harbors coming toward our shores.....sounds like major snowbirds on the move....
Like your bags you are making...
Ugh stay warm - I got a wee bit TOO warm today, and it's still spring. I don't like fluctuations in temps - about 70F is perfect. Your bags are just wonderful!
It's hard to believe that you're in Winter and we are experiencing 90 degree weather. We need a happy medium, huh?! I'm glad you have some knitting to keep you warm. Your breast cancer bags are really nice and so generous.
It sure is cold in the morning and evening here. As long as the sun shines the middle of the day is lovely. Enjoy your knitting. Wonder what it will be? :)
I hope you stay warm!!!! We are finally getting out of winter and rolling into summer. The bags are lovely. Hugs.
I have the opposite problem. Spring is already over. I break a sweat just going to the mailbox. Today will reach 90*F or over!
Cheryll you are more than welcome to come stay with me over here in Texas our temps. have been in the 90's. The past few days it has only been in the 80's and it has been really nice.
Love the bags you made.
Hugs
