FaBriC & XmaS ShoPs... WoW

I tricked, bribed, convinced, politely asked my hubby to stop at a few craft shops while driving around this beautiful country. Of course he had a good book to read in the car... and there was always a "Tim Hortons" coffee nearby... so he was happy for me to get my FiX of fabric, patterns and ideas inside these little worlds of wonder.
I managed to pick up a few things.... dam the weight restrictions on airlines... so I hope to have even more Canadian influence in my home when I get to make some of them. I'll show you what I purchased when I get them out again in Aus.
Anyways.. I have been VeRy GooD... as there have only been a FeW shops!
AND ... unfortunately hubby finished his book....darn it!  lol !

I'll just show you ONE this time... just to whet the appetite.... so please come back to enjoy MoRe eYe CaNdY....
We have also found 2 Christmas shops... and for anyone who knows ME.. that's like finding HeAVeN !
The first was in Halifax. NS.

And the other one was in Montreal,Quebec.

ThIs ShoP wAs a WoNdErLaNd !

I can solve all your shopping problems. #1 - Buy Hubby a new book!!. #2 - Mail a box of goodies home, don't take them all on the airplane. Or....mail them to me, I'll pick out a few goodies, and them mail them home for you. How does that sound? You should never pass up a quilt shop or a Christmas shop.

That's too funny - the first photo I actually thought that pile on the chair was what you were taking home!

OH Cheryll I would have bought Hubby a few more books.

Hi Cheryl,
I am a little jealous. I could have explored those craft shops with you and the Christmas shops. I wouldn't be waiting in the car for you, what fun it would be. But oh well I can dream. Maybe now you need to find a bookshop and buy hubby another book. I have been working on a few secret projects, sorry can't give you any details. :) :)

Cheryl

I agree ship the lot, I did when I was over there in March, everytime it got to a large package size I posted them home. It was fun unpacking the things I had bought, almost Like a second holiday. The post is quite quick so I divided my goods between both DD's addresses,
