Well last night I had my final FNSI for 2011. Thank you to Heidi and Bobbi for hosting these wonderful virtual get-togethers. I know for a fact that I would not have sewn as much without everyone's company each month.
I look forward to seeing you all once again in 2012.
I made my neighbourhood house block for the second year. LOVE,LAUGH,QUILT blog hosts this annual event. Perhaps I'll get lucky and win some blocks this year. If not... well I hope the new owner of my "wonky house by the river at night" enjoys it and thinks of Australia when it's used.
Can you see the boomerang hanging on the wall?
Then I worked some more on the picture lap quilt I'm making.
These are the blocks that will go into the lap quilt- telling the story of the farm.
I finished these during the week....
And at FNSI I completed one block and 1/2 of another block before I just got too tired. I found myself starting to make silly mistakes... so I stopped and went to bed to read.
This morning I'll try to finish off the applique before I go blog hopping to see what others have been up to.
I hope you enjoyed yourself as much as I did.

Clever having your house by the river.
Your farm blocks are adorable ... the little piggies are my favourite.
Looks like you had a very productive FNSI. I'm afraid mine went pear shaped but it's still Friday night somewhere so I shall make up for it today and tonight, I hope :)

Love the farm quilt blocks - have been trying to track down a pattern very similar to do one for one of the grandies - would love to know the name of the pattern or where I might be able to purchase it from.

Hi Cheryl, I'm the winner of your wonky house block and have added it into a wonky quilt that I'd love to show you. Can you send me your e-mail address so I can send you a photo?
