BLoG

I need to do some here...
A few weeks back (lets call it BW- before wedding) chuckle... I received a huge parcel from my friend Kathy from Tasmania. Kathy (and her work place - SPOTLIGHT) sent me a LARGE bundle of fabric donated to my "BlanKets Of LoVe" project. I am so very appreciative of Kathy and Spotlights effort that I wanted to make sure everyone who reads this blog knows how generous quilters are.... but I think YOU all know that already... but I wanted to publicly acknowledge their effort. I will be making lots of little blankets throughout this year and will be ever so proud to display them. I'll add Kathy (fabric) & Spotlight (postage) names to the "Honour Roll" HERE.
THANK YOU so very much... xxx...  You are an ANGEL.
I also received another book in the mail called Patchwork Table Runners  edited by Jeanne Stauffer and Sandra L Hatch from the House of White Birches. There are some beautiful pictures and patterns in amongst the pages... well worth the purchase if you need some ideas.
Here are just two...

DD2 was invited to a BaBy ShoWer and took this along as a gift.
How cute is it!
It's a "diaper" cake. Adorable AND useful at the same time!
AND now... just to say THANK YOU to all my wonderful followers who have been so patient with me... allowing me to NOT return emails to their lovely comments... I have a gift for you!
Unfortunately there is only one at this point in time... but I thought someone may like to own a new loopy scarf for the autumn.

If you would like to win it... just leave me a comment on this post only.
I'll draw one name on SUNDAY April 15th,when I open up the winter themed  OnCe a SeaSon Swap.
I also hope everyone had a wonderful (and perhaps choc filled) Easter ~ xx

I love diaper cakes always go down so well with the new mum to be. Good friends at Spotlight, well done you, have fun sewing everything together.

Those diaper cakes go down a treat for new mothers!!! I actually preferred to use cloth nappies for the first year ... well, at home at any rate - disposable ones were always used when we went out, not that we went out much, since I'd been pooed on by my cousin's son earlier in the year (that I fell pregnant) when he was wearing a cloth nappy at the local supermarket!! NOT HAPPY JAN!!!! LOL!
The fabric donation is a wonderful idea!! ... And the selection of fabrics looks fabulous too!! How thoughtful!! ... Also, while the scarf is gorgeous, don't include me in the draw - Darwin doesn't really get cold enough to justify having one, lol! On the rare occasion I might want one, I have a lovely fluffy one I pull out ... though this will only occur maybe two weeks in a year, lol!!
