QuiLT BloCk #2

A "Quilt Story" with Megan and Heather has challenged us to make a BOM quilt in a different "chosen for us" block theme each month where we get to choose our fabric and actual block. So I guess it's just an encouragement group to get a quilt made a little each month. Block #1 was a 9 patch and I chose "Water Wheel"... block #2 is a HST and I chose "Swamp Angel".

I did however change the centre "piece" to blue instead of the neutral...as shown in 501 rotary quilt blocks book that we are using... as I felt it needed more colour. Anyhoo, that's another finished block into the box. This quilt is a surprise for hubby and is in our local professional football team colours.
Thanks QUILT STORY for hosting this fun little monthly get together!

Some pictures say it all...
This is what TIRED looks like...
This is what IMPATIENCE looks like...
AND this is what A BAD MOOD looks like...
and this is what INTIMACY looks like...

Life's too short to wake up in the morning with
regrets, so . . .

“ Love the people who treat you right...
Pray for those who don't... “
