Block 5

Megan and Heather chose "rounded" for the block due in July.

I thought "Cheyenne" looked ... sort of... kinda like... a wheel.. rounded??..
Bit of a stretch perhaps... but I like it!

It's on page 64 of the book we are using...
501 Rotary Cut Quilt Blocks by Judy Hopkins.

On Sunday afternoon, I cut this flannel fabric... aren't there beautiful colours out this year. It is going to be a lap sized quilt for new son-in-law's mother, for Christmas.

I cut 6 inch and 3 1/2 inch blocks and it will go together in a simple repeating pattern.
I chose colours and patterns I hope Tina will like... fingers crossed... and I will also add some flowers to make it "girlie" for her. For now though, I'll leave it on the sidebar for a week or two. I have several swap gifts to make... ssshhhh !
Last chance to add YOUR name to the post announcing my give away. Go HERE if you want to enter and you only have to be a follower.
It's drawn later today!
