ReSuLtS

WOW... what a busy two days I've had... but sooo much FuN!
Yesterday was my "Ladies Morning Tea" day here... then FNSI last night... and off to a quilt shop hop today! YuM!  But now I need a NaP...lol

But this post is about my FNSI with Heidi, Bobbi and YOU! I sewed along with you all last night and I did manage to finish an item... so I'm adding it to the box for this months item in...

Called "A Window to My Christmas" ...which I made as a table topper. I will be able to place ornies around the borders and still see the centre.
It symbolises "baubles" hanging inside the window... which are appliqued.
Just look at the wonderful Christmas stars on the backing fabric...so pretty!
I quilted continuous leaves in the borders with flowers in the cornerstones, then stippled the window glass.
I'm really HaPPy with it now, although I did have trouble with the stippling as the needle kept sticking to the metal thread on the background fabric... but I only worked this point out AFTER I have finished it... doh!
The table topper measures 24inch and is square.

Absolutely gorgeous topper Cheryll, and I love the idea of keeping the borders blank so you can put stuff on it yet not hide your beautiful work. Wonderful Chrissy finish! Lovely to spend time with you on Friday :)
