TwO IteMs

First Item... I completed my SAL commitment for January... yippee!
I made one of the "Thread Catchers" for someone overseas. The fabric shows a wallaby & parrots amongst other Oz inhabitants.

Then I made another one... to go with another gift.

Check out the pattern for this quick and easy ThreaD CaTcHer. It's in the book by Natalie Bird called "Red Home".
* * * * *
Second Item... I managed to finish another block in The Night Before Christmas Quilt which is on my PhD list. It's block 9... so only a few more to go.
Turning this...
Into this...

I would love to have one of those thread catchers with two little straps and to hang next to my chair.

I will have to find me a pattern.
