Our Tuesday group headed off to a quilt shop yesterday, a 40 minutes drive south, called Patchwork 33. I drove & my friend Monica & I chatted happily all the way, knowing we would meet up with about 20 other quilters. We arrived at the shop, almost in the middle of nowhere, set on acres of beautiful farmland, to find a wonderful morning tea awaiting us in the workshop area... YuM!!!
Then into the shop...
Of course a few items mysteriously found their way into my bag... ???
I also WoN a small gift... mini sissors... yippee...
But then we went over to "the cottage"... so come with me now, for a quick look at the wonderful quilts & wall hangings placed throughout the 2 level area. Groups can have a retreat here, either for one day or several, being fully self contained in a gorgeous setting. I will definitely remember this place to organise some time away with quilting friends in the future!
A few of the wall hangings to enjoy...
I'll show some of the quilts tomorrow... so I hope I see you then...

Hello Cheryll,
You are lucky to have so many shops within a short distance. That lizard hanging is amazing.

What a great day out!
Did you know that fabric is manufactured with a genetic drive to stow away in roomy shopping bags?! It's the darndest thing... x
Love fabric shopping with friends....opens your eyes to so many possibilities. It looks like a good venue for a retreat, especially with the shop close by.
