My big brother made it for me and then delivered it when he arrived the weekend before last. It works a treat!!! The magnets (white strips) holds the project in place and the light is strong enough to go through several layers of fabric.
YiPPeeeeee... I'm absolutely over the moon with it.

What a lucky girl you are to have a talented brother like that, does he make more for friends (ha ha). My light box is an upside down side table with a panel of glass and an old lamp underneath :)

What a great idea with the magnetic strips. Dad and I made two from old drawers a few years back. Ours are 12x18" and are excellent too. Enjoy using yours.
