I decided to hand sew yesterday and managed to finish one part of block 8 of Libby Richardson's "Girls Day Out" quilt. Block 8 has three parts to it... and this is just one of them... but it's a move in the right direction. I jumped out of order with this block but hey... the quilt police don't live nearby... and I just felt like stitching this one!

Last Thursday evening I had the pleasure of meeting, sitting and sewing with Alison aka Carygirl and Tricia aka Googy girl at my home for a couple of hours. Of course "some chatting" went on too. It was the first time Alison and I had met face to face...but as we all live within a short drive of one another it made sense that we did. We plan on doing it again next month too.
I think I'll refer to us as "The M.I.B Club"... Met In Blogland.
Trish was working on this project...
While Alison stitched this one...
Thanks girls for your wonderful, warm and friendly company last week!
