I think about being a SeNIOr now ... and all the entitlements that go with it....
Having "senior" moments is OK from today...
Not having ALL the washing and ALL the ironing done in the same week is permissible...
Driving a volvo... (bloody volvo drivers)...
No apologies needed for NOT knowing how to use modern technology...
NOT using hash tags...
Expecting a seat on the bus/train?...
Cheap travel on public transport...(bonus)...
It's now acceptable to have "some" grey hair...
Unable to blow out ALL the candles on your cake...
Weaker bladder...and definitely NO star jumps...
Hair in places that didn't have hair before...
And the list goes on...
Seriously though... I would like to THANK everyone who has sent a message, email, card and gift. My friends in blogland have made this a wonderful birthday!
Better get off to water aerobics... or was I going shopping?
