OMG

What a jam packed and exciting 5 days I've just had. My head is still spinning!!!
Trip to Spotlight for curtain fabric with DD1 (and GD Chloe) on Thursday. Friday, DD2 arrived (which is always wonderful) then off to the hairdresser and beautician, back home for a family dinner and  NRL football semi-finals. On Saturday, my son & GS (Archer) visited , then Chloe arrived. Nanna was in her element with them both here. Saturday night saw hubby and I off to a surprise birthday party for one of hubby's friends... HOWEVER... the surprise party was for ME. I was completely blown away and went into shock I think. I had absolutely NO IDEA... WOW. Had a fantastic night surrounded by friends... some of whom I have not seen for quite awhile too! Fantastic. Sunday lunch here at home. Bro and SIL stayed until Tuesday.
SO you can understand what I mean when I say OMG. I had been well and truly HAD!
Thanks goes to my family for managing to keep the secret... and especially for DD1 for the organising of the party. SO unofficially I've celebrated the BIG 60 birthday... however I still have 7 days until it actually hits me...lol.

I received my "Friends" swap parcel from Dee too. Dee held off sending my package until I returned home from holidays. I received some lovely gifts... as shown below. Thanks Dee for being my partner... and THANKS to Khris for being the organiser too!

I also received a wonderful parcel from JOY... joypatch blog... in our "table runner" swap. I sent Joy an email saying I had received it so I hope it was delivered. I love the workmanship in this runner... so much so that I am going to hang it in my cubbyhole for inspiration. THanKS goes to Joy for her gifts and also to Maree the organiser.
