FNSI

Friday night was sewing night with friends...& even though I was away, I did get some stitching done. First on the agenda was a few "hearts" for the breast cancer ward. These whipped up really quickly... and they will be ironed & filled once I return home... but 6 were "all but" finished.
I  also started a brightly coloured kids quilt by cutting the centres...
then added the 1st border to all 12 blocks...
So another successful FNSI with Wendy. Thanks... it was great fun again!

A very productive night. I remember making hearts like that in school. Maybe I should go back to that method rather than using templates.
