It's MaGiC

I made a table runner for a swap last Christmas & a friend asked me how I made it... so it made me think that I would share it here as well. I am NOT the originator of this block, I was introduced to it, but I used it my way... & made the "gift" shown below.
If you make two simple blocks... sew them together... then cut them apart... you can come up with 6 different patterns combinations using only 2 colours. You can also use 3 colours for more combinations & the use of 3 fabrics looks wonderful in Christmas colours.

It's amazing... just look at this...




I used the 6th combination (above left) & made this...
