LasT NighT

At Friday Night Sew In with Wendy & her friends over HERE I managed a few hours of ME time.
I started by preparing some bobbins... white, nude & cream.
Do you keep a supply on hand too?

Then traced out a... ssshh project...

And finally... got to PLaY with gorgeous fabrics...

Did YOU have some ME time last night too?... I hope so... as it's GooD for the soul.
Thanks Wendy for some wonderful company!

Looks like you had some quality me time. I also have a bobbin stash lol.... nothing worse than being on a roll & your bobbin runs out!

I always pre-wind a lot of bobbins heading into a serious sewing session.

Too organised by half Madam! I wind a bobbin if and when I need it. But I do have a little box like that full of bobbins which are left overs from other projects. All pretty rainbow colours. Not only that but I have 2 boxes - one for the Bernina and one for the Janome (they use different bobbins)

I am a slow learner.......I have only recently started a bobbin supply. Makes sewing so much more enjoyable.

I don't usually wind on multiple bobbins and then when I run out in the middle of a seam, I am hit with that "duh" moment when I realise I should be winding multiple bobbins.....always!! I am liking the look of the shhh project.

That Christmas fabric looks rather yummy. Evev though I do not use my sewing machine very often I do like some bobbins prepared in advance like yourself. Nothing worse than being on a roll with a project and having to stop to wind a bobbin!

Yes, I do keep a bobbin supply on hand. After many years I have realised I do only need a handful of colours to cover most of my sewing.
That little birdie is gorgeous. And the fabric is yummy - and it has spots!!
Looks like a great night of sewing. Hope you kept warm!
