At a recent retreat I stitched "
heart" shaped pillows for
Breast Cancer Survivors. The pillows are used to relieve pressure & to give comfort to patients after surgery. Carol was kind enough to send me the pattern so these
6 pillows will go off to the Newcastle Mater Hospital (which specialises in "cancer" treatments in the Hunter Region) along with Carols three pillows.
I'll also take over the drainage bags donated during the month of May.

sounds wonderful.......have a great time..........yes I have concerns for the people on a table near you girls.......it will be loud......and please confiscate the IPAD from Shez or she won't get anything done........lol
Lovely cushions made with much care and love. Have a fantastic road trip and give Shez a hug for me please. Maybe you need to distribute earplugs to the other tables hehehe.

I had a bilateral mastectomy last year as I am at very high risk of cancer. There are also kind ladies who give these here in the UK and I received two cushions and two pretty bags for my drainage bags. I was so very grateful so please take this as a thank you from other ladies like me.
