MoRe DoNe aT My ReTreaT

Yesterday I finished off the embroidery for a gift in the Lets Stitch Together 3rd swap. Then I made up the "gift bag" but I can't show you yet as it's a ssshhh secret.
The embroidery pattern is from the book Baskets in Bloom by Gail Pan.
My swap is now complete... ready & waiting for mailing to... ???
Thanks Maree for another great swap idea.

I've been wanting to start on a "WonKy StaR ScraPPy" quilt for ages...so into the scrap bin I dove. I only plan on making up blocks when the urge takes me... in between other projects... AND I will only use my scraps (I purchased "white" for stars & sashing)... so I very much enjoyed making up the first 10 1/2 inch block using light GREENs.
Do you recognise the pic background...it's my BLocK KeePer I received in my swap from Marc. It's perfect for keeping the wonkies in...

Then... I PLaYeD with these yummy fabrics...

Love the wonky star block a great way to use up your scraps.....you've got to stop showing me red & white fabric combo's as I'm leaving drool marks all over the screen of my lap top trying to get closer to them lol :) Barb.

I really like your version of scrappy stars. You could have lots of fun with that. I enjoyed making them into one of the Blankets of Love, never thought about making them into larger blocks like that. Very nice.
