BacK HoMe

after a FuN few days away... although this retreat & socialising caper is exhausting!
Seven lovely ladies kept me company while at the weekend retreat at Wyee.
We ate well... shared a few laughs... perhaps a glass or two of refreshments ... AND I managed to get LoTs accomplished too... BoNuS !
First project... & a finish... was my FaLaLa wall hanger.
It's a Nancy Halvorsen design from her book... Jingle all the Way in the Art to Heart series.
I'm linking this FiNiSH to the March Lets Book It  hosted by Sharon from Vroomans Quilts.
You may notice that I didn't add the scallop edge at the bottom... well ... perhaps IF I had read the instructions I would have noticed it BeFoRe I finished it...ooppsss...
Oh well... now it's an original...
* * * * *
My RoSeS quilt top is now finished & ready for quilting... after a good ironing of course...lol.
I just need to purchase the backing & off it will go to my friend Julie.
Woo Hoo another UFO will be crossed off shortly... yippeeeeee.
March celebrates... St. Patricks day

The fabrics used in the quilt are beautiful-- lovely roses. The Fa la la wallhanging looks great the way you have done it. Are you glad to be home again for awhile?
