I inadvertently stitched an applique to one Night Before Christmas block some months ago... only to realise that I had forgotten to reverse it... ooppsss... No way around it either ... so I unpicked the stitching... re cut the applique & then re stitched it to the block.
I also had to add the remaining reindeer to another block, once two blocks were sewn together.
Viola... another finished block or two... with reindeer antlers & reins also embroidered...
AND these are the last blocks.
I have started to sew rows together as well... onto the borders next... Yippee
Yes a finished flimsy is definitely in the near future...

Oh yes we've all done that Chez... you sure are getting things done now you are home in the cubby...enjoy!
Great progress. What a shame about the reversed images. Sometimes you can get away with it, but as you know, not always. Your blocks look great.
I do alot of applique and I always seem to get my blocks going in the opposite directions from the way the pattern shows them--in most cases it doesn't matter, but reindeer's pulling a sleigh--not that one would have to go in the right direction!!!
looking good--
love and laughter, di

Congrats on your daughters win. I'm sure she will do heaps with the win.
Well done. What a bonus for their hard work over the 3 months they were doing it.
It's a relief now it's all over
