For anyone who knows me knows that I just LoVe applique...
For a WIP... "work in progress"...
AND... I cut out 63 half hexie shapes which are now waiting for the next step.
Before I can do more I need to purchase some "solid" fabric to compliment the checks & plaids.
I didn't know how much fabric to purchase until I cut & counted the blocks.

Lots of mess there and I wonder what you will be making... I have been doing a bit of machine applique too lately, but much bigger pieces that yours.... looking forward to seeing what you find as background fabric...
