DD#2 is expecting another BuB in March & wanted a new TuMMy TiMe quilt.
She picked out an Elizabeth Hartman pattern called Fancy Forest which has been around for awhile now. I'm making it in mostly neutral colours with a few traditional coloured blocks to suit either a boy OR a girl.
The first block I'm making is the "FOX" with the chosen colour of orange...
A second one in another shade of orange...
Then another... but this time in YeLLoW.

That’s wonderful news. The new Bub will have a gorgeous quilt to gaze on for tummy time.
It's going to be a fun quilt. How exciting to have a new baby in the family to cuddle (and make quilts for).
Wonderful news... it's always great to have a special reason like that for a new quilt...

How exciting. The perfect excuse to make another quilt.
Wonderful to have a new Bub to sew for. That’s. Great quilt to make. I enjoyed it when I made one.
Exciting news - looking great so far. xx
Congratulations on a new grand coming soon to the family! Love the foxes. Baby quilts are the perfect size to actually feel like you're making an accomplishment. So sweet!
Wonderful news - will be a lovely fun quilt
Congratulations on the new little one to join your family. I love your choice of colours for the Foxes, I made the Fancy Foxes II (large blocks) and it was so fun to put together.
