A WeeKenD ALoNe...

First task...
Using a different stash "panel"... another Community quilt was worked on.
Simple leaves & vines to compliment the print so a fairly quick finish.
Then after trimming, the binding & label were added.
Second...
I loaded a Novocastrian Quilters community quilt "flimsy" onto Teena.
I chose a simple meander for this one.
Next...
To have a break from quilting I tackled an unfinished project.
I had appliqued the wool felt flowers while on holidays recently in our caravan.
Adding a red zipper looked really NiCe, so for me, it came together quickly.
Who doesn't need another pouch to carry their sewing items.
AND Finally...
Using up an already quilted piece of fabric...
I added some TRiM & a zipper to make a medium size flat pouch.
It measures 13 inch in length & 7 inch wide. It opens really wide for easy access.

On DAY 2... I worked on a ssshhh project... so no pic's just yet.
I finished 2 blocks so I'm very happy.
Although missing hubby... it's been a great STAY AT HOME RETREAT.
