A Finish in Sight...

This PRoJeCT had been hanging around for AGES in fact it had been YEARS.
I decided it was time to complete it.
Firstly... a little more applique was added...
then a few seams sewn together... and
FiNaLLy...  it's now in line for some quilting...
Soon it will be another TICK ✅ off my TO-DO list.

Two MoRe...

Another 2 pouches for my GD.
I'm not exactly happy with the letter placement... should be a little more centered...
but I've taken measurements so next time I'll get it correct I hope.

Sewing for #1 Granddaughter

Miss 12yo wanted a few smallish pouches for her Netball friends.
Every Netball girl needs a place for earrings, lip gloss, sunscreen & whistle.
I made several designs & sizes for her to choose from to give away...

So at FNSI last night I happily finished off one more...
I still have several other designs in mind.
Thanks Wendy for getting us all together...

Using My Long Arm...

I thought I would give Teena some exercise this week by quilting a few community quilts on behalf of Novocastrian Quilters.
I didn't make the flimsy... I just quilted & bound them.
On the first one I did a simple diamond shape.
This one only measures 35 inch square.
And on the second flimsy... I plan on using a Baptist Fan design...
I'll let you know how it goes...

JuST PLaYinG

I got my embroiderer out over the weekend to have a PLaY on it.
I used a build it "flower" design, quilted it & then made it into a small zip pouch.
This one measured approx 8 inch x 8 1/2 inch & has a boxed base.
Still more FuN to be had...
This time a making a KNITTING NEEDLES large zip pouch.
Measuring approx 14 inch x 5 1/2 inch it also has a boxed base.
I was on a roll...
so I decided on another needle case...
Then finally... a CuTe phrase embroidered onto fabric.
This one was made into a medium sized zipper pouch.
