Making a Neighbourhood.

Happy New Year Everyone!
I joined a group last year and had to make a "house" block and send it off to Love Laugh Quilt. My house would then be added to other houses and form a neighbourhood. Then, one or several lucky winners would win 12 blocks (depending on how many houses were actually received) to make their own "neighbourhood" quilt.
How exciting to actually win some of these beautiful and varied houses
and then get to keep 'em in your own neighbourhood. I know I've got my fingers CrOssEd to win a bunch!

Here is the "Aussie" house I posted off.
I used "cockatoo" fabric for the sky....
just thought that was fitting!

I had to take a second look at the sky..those cockatoos really look like clouds.

Good luck on the drawing. Hope you get your houses....

Cute house, Cheryll!! I've got my fingers crossed that you win some of the blocks. I think they will make a lovely quilt.

Hi Cheryll...... HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Your house block is great..... love the cockatoo fabric :-)

I'm hoping Quilters Gallery has another swap like the Needlecase swap last year, I really enjoyed that one.

Good luck in the neighbourhood houses competition, hope you win a bunch! or should that be a "street" full or perhaps a suburb! :-)

Keeping my fingers crossed for you that you win a couple of blocks - they would make a cute wall hanging. Yours is fab and the cockatoos do like the clouds from a distance :0)
