As the temperatures soared (day and night I might add) my creativity declined. It was just too hot to sew.. or do anything I might say.... but now with the lower degrees in our region, I feel like crafting AgAin!
SO... first on my agenda was a "Valentine Day" runner. My hall entry table is not very large so I adjusted the pattern to suit. I was inspired by Lee over at LaLa's Lovelys Blog where she has a dining room table runner on display. I just loved it so I borrowed her design (with her permission of course) and made my smaller version. I think it will do nicely for February 14th!
You just may need to attach a LoVe note somewhere and this would be PeRfEcT.
I also stitched the binding to the back of my Once a Season Swap Autumn item for my sewing sister. But I guess you'll have to wait to see it when my secret recipient receives it in the mail....

I agree with you..cold wind blowing outside, maybe a bit of snow or frost, and I am ready to cuddle up under a UFO, handstitching the binding..(as soon as I can get off the computer and sew it on!)
