My February swap partner in
BSA was Sunny. Sunny wished for a "basket" but I added a little twist to the traditional block. I appliqued small flowers into the centre.. and Sunny said she was
HaPPy with my interpretation. It is always a worry when you go outside the norm... but "thankfully" my partner liked it.
Another round is complete on my SAHR (stay at home robin) being run by Kate. This is round 8 so we are nearing completion. This month we could add embellishments to our project... but Kate warned there would be more LaTeR... so I only added a small appliqued Snowman TeaPot.
I like the way it's coming together now.
This is our
first Christmas Quilt-a-Long for 2011 and this is what I'll be working on tonight / early morning (Australian time) to co-incide with Saturday UK time...xxx... I hope...xxx....(fingers crossed).
So come visit me
tomorrow..
tonight.. Sunday ?? ...sometime??....
AnYwAy....come by and visit and see what this was made into.

You always produce such beautiful work, I love the basket.
Hi cheryll, I found you through Kate's round Robin, I'm stuck non round eight, but I love your snowman tea pot. Do you use machine embroidery? I had been trying to get my head around hand or free motion appliqué, but yours made me realise I could asxwell use the embroidery machine LOL
