I spoke about civil war fabrics last post and it got me thinking about how I picked them. The 2 wonderful owners (Chris & Sharon) of my local supply shop are ALwAys helpful, patient and knowledgeable... so of course I turned to them for guidance. I decided to show you where I spend SOOO much time...loving every minute of it too by the way... and all the CaNdY i get to go through looking for JusT the right piece. Hope you enjoy them.
Of course this is just a fraction of what is on offer...
and I can spend way to much time there...
but it certainly is FuN!
I'll leave you with this poem.... (more on Thursday this week)
She Learned to Quilt on MONDAY
Her stitches all were fine
She forgot to make us dinner
So we all went out to dine...
She quilted miniatures on Tuesday
She says they are a must
They really were quite lovely
But she forgot to dust...
On Wednesday it was a sampler
She says stippling is fun
What highlights! What shadows!

Looks like a fabulously well stocked shop! I'm sure you help tremendously with the turnover! lol
Well how about that! I never knew there was still a quilt shop in Belmont. Is that the same lovely store that used to be on the highway?
I will have to get myself back out there to have a look.
Thanks for letting us know.
Everyone else is gaga about your shop, but I'm excited about the block!!!! Can't wait to see it in real life.
Looks like a great shop! Fantastic poem too but I would love to know if there was a Thursday and Friday verse too :-) I think most of us can relate to it lol
