OveR ThE WeekEnD

All the Santa Sack Swap partners went out on schedule. Now the FuN can begin... gathering fabric, designing the sack and finally thinking about the gifts to send off by July 1st. We have 61 swappers from 6 countries... Australia/ New Zealand/ UK/ Canada/ Portugal and the USA. Please make contact with your partner as she is now a new friend... but please feel free to email me if you have any problems.
But I think the most important thing to remember is to enjoy and second, come to grips with the idea of having to wait 6 yes SIX whole months before we get to open our first gift...  ooohhhh... can we do it?... yes we can!...  we are crafters!  and we shall take the royal oath ...
"with very little squeezing or shaking, I swear"
"QuiLTers HoNoUr"

Let me know if you haven't received your email with your partners details.

My April block from Melody (my partner in Quilting Block Swaps Australia) arrived and once again the block and fabric choice was just PeRfEcT!
I might just have to get them all out and photograph them... it should be sensational !

Melody also added a few little goodies for me too! Isn't she NiCe !

~~~*~~*~~~
I finished off my kitchen towels and have wrapped them up ready to send off to my partner tomorrow.The Lets Exchange swap needs to be mailed off no later than May 15th... so I'm ahead of schedule... yehhhh!
I hope my partner can use them in her kitchen and likes the recipe I enclosed too.
I actually did 2 different towels with different toppers....
just to add variety...
The plainer red fabric has "fruits" printed on it... matching the towel perfectly.
My blogger friend Joyce sent me over 2 lovely Blankets of Love. Joyce's quilting is wonderful and even though she wasn't happy with them I thought they were just perfect. If you want to find out more about BLaNkEtS of LoVe just go here and read about this wonderful project. Then drop by "Young by design" and say hello to Joyce....she does envelope drawings... sound interesting?.. it is... she is a talented lovely lady!
