MaKinG a StarT

I finally got my act together to get most of the requirements for the Girls Day Out quilt. I have the patterns, all the colours of thread, the background fabric and I'll take the needed applique bits from my stash baskets. I even bought new sissors too... I will wait to see what filler fabric I'll use until I make some progress.
Hoping to start applique then stitching Block 1...
ASAP...

This is a wonderful gift I received as a surprise. Can you guess who it was from? Why the famous diary/journal cover QUEEN... Peg. Isn't it fantastic fabric covering my diary. FaNkS Peg!!!

And I've been to my LQS...& came home with some BaBy fabrics... go figure?

Yippee!!!
