May is Charity Month

In Australia, the month of May celebrates the Beast Cancer biggest morning tea event which of course raises much needed funds for research. As we are unable to get together for a morning tea... I thought if anyone was interested in making a contribution... you can... by making a "bag" instead. These easy to make bags hold the 2 x 500ml drainage bottles for patients leaving hospital. If you wanted to whip one up and mail it to me (it would go for $1.40 postage) & I would gladly take it to the Cancer Unit at the Mater Hospital here in Newcastle. Both women & men from all over the country area travel to this hospital for care. The instructions for making a bag can be found HERE... and they really are VeRy easy.
I hope you can find the time & a little fabric to make one... xx

If you make a bag just email me and I'll give you my snail mail address.
THanKs xx
