I recently found 8 Bear Paw blocks that I'd received in a block swap many many years ago.
It was time to do something with them...
Not all the blocks measured the same so a little trimming was needed...
Then I cut some sashings... placed the blocks... did some sewing... & voila'...
a 40 inch x 60 inch Wheel Chair sized charity quilt.
Novocastrian Quilt Guild... will sandwich it... then quilt it... stitch on a binding... & then give it away.

The bears paw blocks look good - it's a nice feeling to move something out of stash and off to do someone good.
I am loving your black and white project and the bears paw blocks make a great quilt for a good cause. xx
Go you! A great use of stash and orphan blocks. I’m just about to start a black and white leader and ender project to use up some of my stash. It is a combo that always works well. I love the pop of blue in your blocks.
You're so productive! Love those B&W blocks.
Love your black and white blocks. The bears paws have made up into a lovely quilt, sure to be loved and appreciated xx
You are zooming with the log cabin blocks.
Great way to use the found blocks for a donation quilt. Perfect way to use them.
I love black and white quilts. The accent color used always changes the whole look. My friend did one with a lime green accent and it was stunning. I love Fall colors so I'm quite partial to the Bear Paw quilt. So nice to use your block swap for a charity quilt.
