I managed to put together another PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit) quilt, this time using squares. I had already cut 21/2 inch fabrics but I needed a few larger squares (centers) together with strips of white/green/yellow/blue/red, left over from various quilt projects, to use as block frames.
I'm VeRY HaPPy to have used up more scraps... & to have another PICU donation.
This 35 inch flimsy will be machine quilted & bound while at our guild meeting.
AND speaking of our Guild...
Small signs are needed for our upcoming Exhibition... so I trialled a few designs.
I wasn't happy with the font /applique on the first one... so I used my Prismacolour pencils to write the words on the 2nd one instead. I made another one using the "NO TOUCHING" theme with just a hand & X on the last of 3 ORPHaN blocks also found in the scrap bucket.
It was a FuN little project... & there's another BoNuS...
ALL 3 were made completely from SCRAPs... YiPPee

Great use of scraps!! I really like the scrappy quilt top you completed. Those (reusable) Quilt Show signs are pure genius! I'm going to have to tell our committee about those.
