Doing It For The Kids...
I hope to make child friendly quilts for either the local hospital OR the various community Charites, Refuges or Organisations that need a helping hand.
I've already started working on one this month...

In my stitching cubbyhole...
I only grabbed small amounts of time - here & there -
BuT I did manage to get a few things ✅ on my list...
In December I volunteered to make a charity quilt from a donated kit.
It's called My Garden by Homestead Selection & it definitely has a country feel.

I made a start & block #1 was quickly finished...
On another day... block #2 was prepared & then blanket stitched...
During an afternoon visit... the appliqué on block #3 was fused in place...

I was excited last Tuesday when I won a prize in the Guild raffle... yippee...
Four gorgeous "dotty" fabric lengths... so I'm over the moon...😁

I also managed to put together another 3 rows of TriDazzle too...
I'm really happy with how it looks so far...

Nice blocks. I twice won the Fat Quarter Shop prize from Patty at One Monthly Goal. It cost $13 US to ship my free stuff to Canada. I don't think I have used any of the things I bought either time, yet. One of these days. I did my FNWF stitching last night which was our Thurs night.
Cute bears. You already do so much for charity I’m sure you will do a lot more.

How lucky to win the sporty fabrics. They’ll be perfect in your kid’s quilts. All your current projects look great.
