Machine Work

After a lot of blanket stitch / quilting / stitching this week...

I managed to sew together 2 completed rows of my BoYs ToYs quilt.
As you can see it's another QAYG project...

I decided to appliqué pieces of "fruit" onto shopping bags for our Guild stall.
They're strong - instead of using plastic - & very handy to have on hand in the car.
They are 100% cotton & available from Spotlight $2.00 or Lincraft $3.00, although my DD gave me a bunch so I'll have more to make in the future IF they sell.

And another 12inch ReD door house finished & hanging on the design board...

And finally... BLOCK #3 (20inch) scrappy wonky quarter log cabin was...
sorted, pressed, pieced, trimmed, sandwiched & now pinned ready for quilting.

I hope you've enjoyed progress on YouR projects this week as well...

Hi.... new to your blog and enjoying it.
Can you tell me if the Boys Toy Quilt is your design or where you found the pattern?

Thank you for taking the time to share what you create!

I always love the varied projects you do - love the fruit on the bags - and the Boys Toys - is that a particular pattern or making it as you go?
