I had a little sewing room tidy up & also needed to wind a few BoBBinS.
I know there are many "doodads" on the market for stopping bobbin thread unravelling... but I just use tiny, cheap & readily available, stretchy hair bands.
They are also colour co-ordinated to my thread...😵... but HeY they work.
I just thought you might be interested to try this idea...

But I did complete the change mat for DD#2...
Coincidentally it's in this months RSC2021 colour too... Aqua/Teal/Turquoise.

And another row of Blue Boys was FMquilted & then joined to row 1 as well...

You have been busy! A clever idea with the bobbin threads.... I will look for some of those little bands.... love the quilt and your fmq is perfect for that one... the rose fabric for your HST is so pretty and great changing mat.... busy busy busy

That changing mat turned out great and I love the quilting you are doing on that boy quilt!
Great tip with the hair ties. Might need to "invest" in some of those myself. Ha! Love the portable changing station. It'll be well used , I'm sure.
