SoMeTHinG NeW...

I was working on a project over the holidays & it got to a point where I could put it together... so last night at FNwF I did just that.
After machine stitching the top to the sides... which fit perfectly...✌😊
I hand stitched the base to this CRAFT LAP CUSHION
I think it was originally known as a BACK EASER because it's to stop back & neck soreness while hand stitching, knitting or crocheting by lifting your project to a better height. I didn't have a pattern so I just winged it... 😏
AND I'm very happy with the outcome.
The inside "foam" measures 12 inch in diameter & is 6 inch in height.
I also added a strap for carrying to sewing days.
I hope you had a successful night too.
I'll be over this weekend to see what you accomplished.

This is a great idea and it looks wonderful. Much better than having a pillow on your lap.

That looks like a great idea! I think I would be tempted to add the odd pocket on the side too. xx

That is super cute! Great to be able to repurpose something you already have, and to make it so adorable! It’s a real conversation piece. Well done!
