I was working on a project over the holidays & it got to a point where I could put it together... so last night at FNwF I did just that.
After machine stitching the top to the sides... which fit perfectly...✌😊
I hand stitched the base to this CRAFT LAP CUSHION .
I think it was originally known as a BACK EASER because it's to stop back & neck soreness while hand stitching, knitting or crocheting by lifting your project to a better height. I didn't have a pattern so I just winged it... 😏
AND I'm very happy with the outcome.
The inside "foam" measures 12 inch in diameter & is 6 inch in height.
I also added a strap for carrying to sewing days.
I hope you had a successful night too. I'll be over this weekend to see what you accomplished.

Such a lovely lap cushion.
Thanks Cheryll had a great afternoon/evening.
This is a great idea and it looks wonderful. Much better than having a pillow on your lap.
That looks like a great idea! I think I would be tempted to add the odd pocket on the side too. xx
What a great idea and nice and cheerful too
Oh that looks very cool and a very good idea :-)
That is super cute! Great to be able to repurpose something you already have, and to make it so adorable! It’s a real conversation piece. Well done!
